Favorite tattoo she has: "I've always been a fan of my butterfly on my hip. I also used to have a surface eyebrow piercing that I loved."
Favorite tattoo she's done: A floral sleeve.
Interests: "Having fun 'n makin' money!"
Favorite movie: "Pineapple Express"
Music: "I go through phases when I'll leave in a cd for a week at a time. Right now, I'm digging Lady Gaga, and Notorious BIG mixed with Frank Sinatra."
Random fact: Korey can do a back bend.
Newcomer Korey Pirtle has only been at the shop since late December of 2009, but that hasn't stopped her from fitting right in with the XBody family.
In fact, for Pirtle, who's been tattooing for eight years, it's always been a family affair.
"My brother Keith started piercing at Pins n Needles where I met Joel who taught me to tattoo at Bambu."
Korey, who has a 9-year-old son, specializes in realism in general, nature-based pieces, insects and flowers and is looking forward to doing more portraiture.
Like the other artists at XBody, Korey's multitalented too.
"I'm a muralist and a musician. I love to customize and reinvent fashion and I also love horticulture."
