Open since 2002, XBody is a tattoo shop owned by Paul Sobreiro and wife Kelly located in Swansea, Mass.

An artist himself, Paul currently employs tattoo artists Meghan Beth Pagliaroni, Jess Braley, Korey Pirtle, Len Dente and Jon Bourgeois.

XBody offers customers a clean, safe, private, comfortable and relaxed environment they'll be comfortable getting tattooed or pierced in.

"We believe strongly in doing good work with good customer service and having a good time while doing it," said Sobreiro.

The staff at XBody specializes in custom tattoos and will try their hardest to give you the tattoo you want on your body for a lifetime.

If you know exactly what you want, just have an idea or don't have a clue, we will take the time needed to work with you to design the tattoo you really want.

It's been over a year since we've had an update here mostly because it's been tough to keep up with all the changes. Long-time piercer Ken Duddly has retired from the world of professional piercing. We're pretty sure this is just a work so he can come back as a babyface, but we'll see. We'll certainly miss him jabbing us with needles. In turn, we will also no longer be offering piercing of any sort for the foreseeable future. Any longtime clients are more than welcome to come and stop by to get tattooed, just to say hi or for recommendations where to go now.

In other new and slightly related news, the shop has been remodled and now features four state-of-the-art tattoo booths, tvs in the two big booths to watch while you get tattooed and plenty of new art both on display and for sale.

In other absolutely huge news that we couldn't talk about for a while, but can now, our very own Meghan Pagliaroni was picked from a nation-wide casting call to be one of 10 artists on the new, upcoming reality show from Oxygen called "Best Ink." She was just recently on the cover of Tattoo magazine with the rest of the cast and featured in the cover article. Big things ahead for Cupcake.

In addition to Paul and Ms. Pags, the amazing Ms. Pirtle is still with us and former apprentice Jess Braley is tattooing full-time these days. Added into the mix are new artists Len Dente (new as in since the last web update ... Lenny's been around for a while now, lol.) and most recently Jon Bourgeois.

We're also going to be featuring some guest artists both in the booths and on the walls starting in February, so be sure to keep up-to-date with all things XBody, including specials and discounts on the FB page.
